Because when you do post things that are relevant to my interests, then I really like your posts! Other than that, I don’t really mind, because I have a RIDICULOUS amount of things blacklisted, so most of the stuff that aren’t “my thing” that actually end up on my dashboard are typically things that don’t bother me at all (like fancy hipstery pictures and such).
Basically, the reason I follow you (or anyone, for that matter) is because you have posted things that I liked enough to get me to follow you in the first place, and you haven’t annoyed me enough to get me to unfollow you. And, well, you specifically haven’t managed to annoy me at all, and most of the things you post are either of decent quality (which is a hard thing to explain), or I just scroll past them (as I do with 99% of the things on my dashboard) without a second thought because they haven’t struck my interest.
That’s a really mean-sounding way of putting it. But I don’t mean it to come off like that! I just like you and your blog in general, and so I continue to follow you and it and stuff. Okay, this is really hard to explain without coming off really rudely. And I’m not so good at saying nice things.
HOPEFULLY YOU GET MY POINT. I’m not good at explaining things like this, and when I’m not good at explaining things like this, I start to ramble xD Just know that you’re a generally awesome person, and that I don’t necessarily mind all the stuff on my dash that isn’t “my thing.” It’s hard to put words in quotes without sounding condescending. Goddammit. I think you get what I’m trying to say… I hope! Okay. I’m shutting up now. xD
